Choreographer and content creator Dhanashree Verma, along with Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, has been in the news regarding their personal affairs. The cricketer's attorney provided an official statement to HT, confirming that a divorce settlement was achieved in a Bandra court in Mumbai. Shortly thereafter, Dhanashree was seen at the Mumbai airport, where she engaged with photographers and posed for pictures.

On Saturday, a paparazzo released a video capturing Dhanashree's arrival at the Mumbai airport. The choreographer and content creator appeared cheerful as she exited her vehicle and made her way toward the terminal. When inquired about her well-being, she chuckled and continued walking, stating, "Kaam par jaa rahi hoon (I am going to work)."

She posed for photographs at the paparazzi's request and even obliged a fan with a picture. Dhanashree sported a casual airport look, wearing a black sleeveless bodysuit paired with blue baggy jeans, leaving her hair open.

Dhanashree-Yuzvendra Chahal's relationship

Dhanashree first encountered Indian cricketer Chahal during the Covid-19 pandemic when he sought her expertise in dance lessons. The couple celebrated their marriage in December 2020 with a private ceremony in Gurugram. The choreographer frequently supported her husband from the audience at cricket matches.

On Saturday, Chahal's attorney, Nitin K Gupta, confirmed that a divorce petition had been filed. In an official statement to Hindustan Times, he remarked, "Mr Chahal has reached a mutual consent settlement for divorce with Mrs Verma. A petition for divorce by mutual consent has been submitted to the Hon’ble Family Court in Bandra. The case is currently under judicial consideration."

Previously, there were speculations suggesting that Dhanashree was demanding ₹60 crore in alimony. However, Dhanashree’s family released a statement to the media, refuting these allegations. The statement asserted, "We are profoundly disturbed by the unfounded claims regarding the alimony amount. To be unequivocally clear—no such figure has ever been requested, demanded, or even proposed. These rumours are entirely false. It is highly irresponsible to disseminate such unverified information, involving not only the individuals concerned but also their families in unwarranted speculation. Such reckless reporting is damaging, and we implore the media to practice caution, verify facts before disseminating misinformation, and respect the privacy of all parties involved."
