In conjunction with the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam, Harshvardhan Rane has recently unveiled his upcoming film, Deewaniyat. Directed by Milap Zaveri, this project aims to present a poignant musical love story. Harshvardhan disclosed that the narrative will revolve around themes of 'love, heartbreak, and music.' Shortly after this announcement, the production team secured the film's leading actress. Sonam Bajwa has been cast as the female lead in Deewaniyat.

Sonam Bajwa joins Deewaniyat

Sonam Bajwa conveyed her enthusiasm for her role in Deewaniyat. The actress will appear alongside Harshvardhan Rane in the film directed by Milap Zaveri. In a recent Instagram post featuring a new motion poster for Deewaniyat, Sonam wrote: "I am incredibly excited to ignite the flames of love in #Deewaniyat! This intense tale of passion and heartbreak stars the remarkable @harshvardhanrane! (sic)."

Sonam and Harshvardhan's upcoming film is being produced by Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan under the banner of Vikir Motion Pictures. The screenplay has been crafted by Mushtaq Sheikh and Milap Zaveri. This passionate love story is poised to commence production shortly and is scheduled for release later this year. Sonam expressed her excitement, stating, "Can’t wait for you all to witness this madness of love! (sic)."

For those who may not be aware, Deewaniyat was officially announced following the remarkable success of the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam. Harshvardhan previously mentioned that the film's narrative will resonate in the hearts of audiences for years to come.

Sonam Bajwa's Bollywood movies

Sonam Bajwa, primarily known for her work in Punjabi cinema, is set to appear in several Hindi films soon. She will feature in Tarun Mansukhani's Housefull 5 alongside notable actors such as Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Soundarya Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Fardeen Khan. This film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is slated for a theatrical release on June 6, 2025.

Additionally, the actress plays a significant role in Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 4. Directed by A. Harsha, this action-thriller also stars Sanjay Dutt and Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, with its release scheduled for September 5, 2025.
