Deepika Padukone was beaming as she and her actor-husband Ranveer Singh were seen at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday evening. The couple happily waved to the paparazzi and took some photos with them. Deepika just turned 39 on January 5 and welcomed the new year with Ranveer and their little girl, Dua Padukone Singh.

Deepika and Ranveer were seen arriving at the airport hand in hand. Deepika rocked an oversized shirt paired with baggy pants, finishing off her look with a tidy bun and some stylish shades. Ranveer looked sharp in a deep blue shirt. They were all smiles, pausing for a moment to snap some photos and chat with the paparazzi. They even took a couple of pictures when the photographers asked them to stop for a bit. Deepika expressed her gratitude when one of them wished her a belated happy birthday.

Deepika and Ranveer celebrated their first Christmas and New Year's since welcoming their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, who arrived in September last year. Deepika gave fans a glimpse of their holiday festivities by posting a photo on her Instagram Stories, showcasing a close-up of their Christmas tree. The spotlight was on three ornaments hanging from the tree, each featuring the names of the family members: Ranveer, Deepika, and Dua. Deepika tagged Ranveer in the post and included the hashtag ‘gratitude.’ She wrote, “(evil eye and red heart emojis) My heart is full (evil eye and red heart emojis).”

In December, the couple invited the paparazzi to meet their daughter for the first time but asked that no photos be taken since Dua is still very little. They promised the photographers that they would share her pictures when the time is right.

On the professional side, both Ranveer and Deepika were last seen in Rohit Shetty's Diwali hit, Singham Again.
