Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has shared the screen with both Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in multiple movies. In a past interview with NDTV, when she was prompted to pick who she thought was the better actor, Deepika skillfully sidestepped the question, stating that comparing the two actors or their films isn't necessary.

Deepika Padukone had a witty reply when a fan asked her who she thinks is the better actor: Ranbir or Ranveer

During a promotional interview for Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha, a fan asked Deepika who she thinks is the better actor: Ranveer Singh or Ranbir Kapoor. Deepika responded, "It's like asking if you prefer your mom or your dad." Ranbir chimed in with a laugh, "I want to be the dad." Deepika went on to say, "I feel like we're always making comparisons—whether it's about movies, actors, or co-stars. We don’t need to keep doing that. Each of their personalities and the unique work they bring to the table deserve appreciation and acceptance as they are."

For those who might not know, Ranbir and Deepika fell for each other while filming Bachna Ae Haseeno. Deepika even got a tattoo of his initials on the back of her neck. But just a year later, they broke up. Despite the split, they stayed friends and appeared together in movies like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha.

Ranveer and Deepika have collaborated on several projects, including Bajirao Mastani, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, 83, and Singham Again. After a short romance, they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2018. Recently, the couple welcomed their daughter, Dua, into the world in 2024.

Additionally, he has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War coming up, where he stars alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

Filming is set to begin this December. Meanwhile, Ranveer has two projects lined up: Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, featuring Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna, and Farhan Akhtar's Don 3.
