Dipika Kakar is presently participating in the cooking reality television series Celebrity MasterChef. Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, disclosed in a recent vlog that Dipika has sustained an injury to her left arm, which was exacerbated by a previous injury due to excessive physical activity.

Details of Dipika's Injury

In the vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim explained that when Dipika initially reported pain, they consulted a doctor who reassured them that it was not a serious issue and would improve over time. However, they had to seek medical attention again after Dipika returned home in distress from severe pain. In the video, she was seen wearing an arm sling and mentioned, "The pain worsened when I inhaled, which is why I was in such a bad state that day."

Shoaib further elaborated, "We underwent an MRI and CT scan, and the doctor indicated that Dipika likely had an old injury, possibly related to age or physical activity. Currently, her level of physical exertion is quite high, which has triggered the injury. The doctor has not strictly mandated that she keep her hand completely immobile or cease working, but he advised her to rest her hand as much as possible. He mentioned that she can remove the arm sling while cooking on MasterChef, but should otherwise ensure her hand is rested."

He also commented, "Sometimes, I feel this could be attributed to the evil eye. Last week, her experience on Celebrity MasterChef was quite successful. She secured the first immunity pin by recreating Vikas Khanna’s ‘Bhramand,’ which was thrilling to witness."
