Deborra-Lee Furness's recent remarks regarding her relationship with Hugh Jackman have resurfaced following the actor's public declaration of his affection for Sutton Foster.

Hugh and Sutton were seen holding hands during a dinner outing in Santa Monica, California. The duo, who previously collaborated in the acclaimed Broadway revival of The Music Man, have been the focus of romantic rumours for several months.

Prior to their separation in September 2023, Deborra-Lee shared with People Magazine that “We do everything together.” She humorously acknowledged that she left the “tap dancing” to Hugh, even jesting about stepping into Sutton Foster’s role if necessary. “You’d have to push me onto the stage,” she quipped, indicating that she was familiar enough with Sutton’s lines to step in “in a pinch.”

Sources indicate that Deborra-Lee is experiencing a sense of relief following the emergence of photographs featuring Hugh and Sutton together. “She has been burdened by doubts,” a source informed the Daily Mail.

“She was reassured that the rumours were unfounded and that they were merely close colleagues. However, her instincts suggested otherwise.”

In the wake of this tension, reports emerged indicating that Deborra-Lee was displeased with Hugh’s friends, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, for their perceived silence regarding the affair. “Deb feels blindsided.
