Telugu actress Sumaya Reddy is set to make her debut as a heroine, producer, and writer with the upcoming film Dear Uma, which is scheduled for release on April 18th. The film features Prithvi Amber in the lead male role. Nagesh serves as the line producer, while Nithin Reddy takes on the role of executive producer. The screenplay, dialogues, and direction are crafted by Sai Rajesh Mahadev. The cinematography, known for its exceptional quality, is handled by the esteemed Raj Thota, and the music is composed by the acclaimed Radhan. A pre-release event was held on Wednesday to promote the film.

During the event, Sumaya Reddy expressed her pride in representing Anantapur, stating, “I am honoured to represent Anantapur. From the initial coconut breaking ceremony to the pumpkin breaking, the media has been incredibly supportive – thank you for your encouragement. The media is the true guest of honour at our event. Consequently, Sumaya Reddy chose to produce the film herself, driven by her desire to convey a powerful social message. Gradually, more members joined our team.
