Musician Amaal Malik recently opened up about his struggle with clinical depression. In a heartfelt message, he expressed how his family dynamics have contributed to his feelings and mentioned the increasing rift between him and his brother, fellow musician Armaan Malik. In response to Amaal's decision to distance himself from the family, their father, Daboo Malik, has shared his thoughts on the situation.

Daboo Malik posts a touching message

On Saturday, music director and composer Daboo Malik posted a sweet photo on Instagram with his son Amaal. In the snapshot, Amaal was planting a kiss on his dad's cheek, and Daboo was clearly cherishing the loving moment. They both sported matching white outfits. Along with the cute picture, Daboo captioned it, "I love you."

Sonu Nigam tried to boost his mood by stating, "Everything was great, everything is great, and everything will be great." Fans shared their reactions to his post. One fan remarked, "The ultimate father-son duo." Another added, "A parent's love is limitless; it’s endless and unconditional, regardless of how many children they have." Amaal's statement

Amaal recently posted about severing ties with his family, explaining that his parents' actions have caused a rift between him and his brothers. He expressed, "For years, they’ve done everything to disrupt my peace and undermine my friendships, relationships, mindset, and self-esteem. Yet, I’ve kept pushing forward because I know I can handle it, and I believe I’m resilient."

He also opened up about his struggle with clinical depression, stating, "Right now, I feel like I’ve lost my peace, and I’m emotionally and possibly financially drained—but that’s not my main concern. What truly matters is that I’m dealing with clinical depression due to these experiences. I take responsibility for my choices, but my self-worth has been repeatedly diminished by those close to me who have taken parts of my spirit."

Amaal declared that he would be cutting all personal connections with his family, saying, "From this point on, my relationship with my family will be strictly professional. This decision isn’t made out of anger; it’s a necessary step for my healing and to take back control of my life. I won’t let the past dictate my future anymore. I’m dedicated to rebuilding my life with honesty and strength." However, he later removed the post and asked the media not to bother his family.
