The drama from the whole Samay Raina's India's Got Latent situation and Ranveer Allahbadia's remarks is still shaking things up in the comedy scene. Recently, it looks like comedian Harsh Gujral has taken down all the videos from his comedy show, The Escape Room.

Harsh Gujral removes videos

Just a few days after Samay Raina pulled all episodes of his show India's Got Latent from his YouTube channel, comedian Harsh has done the same thing.

Similar to Samay's work, Harsh's show The Escape Room explored dark humor and explicit jokes. It premiered in December 2024 but only had two episodes, both of which have now been taken down from Harsh's YouTube channel.

The show featured a confession box where participants revealed shocking secrets. Although Harsh has deleted all videos from the show and set its Instagram account to private, it still has 34.3K followers. The comedian hasn't said anything about why the episodes were removed.

About the stir

India's Got Latent, hosted by Samay, has been under fire lately after guest Ranveer, aka BeerBiceps, made a questionable comment during the latest episode. He asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents... or join in once and stop it forever?" This remark triggered a wave of backlash, resulting in a formal complaint against Ranveer, Samay, comedian Apoorva Mukhija, and the show's organizers.

After the controversy blew up earlier this month, Samay took to the stage in Edmonton, Canada, for his first performance since the incident. He decided to make light of the situation, with a fan named Shubham Dutta sharing a quote from Samay: "'Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon (Maybe my time is bad right now, but remember, my friends—I am time itself).'"

On another note, the Supreme Court has criticized the show, and Ranveer is currently facing a hearing regarding obscenity charges related to the episode.
