Abhishek Upmanyu talks about being single at 33.

Abhishek Upmanyu hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to share a funny take on why he’s still single at 33. He tweeted, "There are just so many web series and movies I want to binge. Once I get married, that’ll definitely change. Back in the day, we only had newspapers to read, and by noon they were done, so people thought, why not just get married?"

He also mentioned in Hindi, "That's why people used to have kids, for some fun conversations and entertainment. What can a child say that a bunch of screenwriters can't come up with? Plus, kids are only adorable for a few years; eventually, they're just going to shut the door in your face." He continued by saying that while he loves his parents, he doesn't live with them, so why do people feel the need to live with someone they care about?

He also poked fun at those who claim that having kids is a 'deep experience,' saying, "People who talk about the profound feelings of parenthood are just trying to justify it because it costs a ton of money, time, and energy. If they admitted it was pointless, they'd be left with a mountain of regret."

Abhishek Upmanyu's tips for his fans.

The comedian wrapped things up with a funny tip for anyone having a hard time saying no to their parents about marriage. He said, "If your parents are pushing you to tie the knot because they did, just remind them they had six kids and you’re not following in those footsteps. Don’t get caught up in the marriage trap; you’ll miss out on some great shows. Go binge-watch The Bear, Kumbalangi Nights, Premalu, and Breaking Bad. That’s it."

Abhishek Upmanyu's tweets had everyone cracking up. One fan commented, "I just sent this to my mom. Can’t wait for the laughs to come!" Another said, "I can totally hear you while reading this (laughing emoji)." Someone else joked, "This feels more like a threat than a thread (laughing emojis)."
