2 months ago | 5 Views
Days following the commencement of ticket sales for the limited availability of the Mumbai concerts by the British band Coldplay, BookMyShow is set to provide fans with the opportunity to secure tickets for the Ahmedabad concerts next week. If you have not yet acquired a ticket for Coldplay's tour in India, here are the details regarding when and where you can make your booking on Wednesday.
More Coldplay tickets
The official social media accounts of BookMyShow and BookMyShow Live announced on Wednesday that a limited number of tickets for the Ahmedabad concerts will be available for purchase today. "Attention Coldplay fans, limited tickets for both Ahmedabad shows will be released today at 6 PM IST (sparkle emoji). Show Dates & Venue: January 25th & 26th (calendar emoji) at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad."
According to the guidelines provided by the platform, the waiting room for these additional tickets will open at 5 PM today, January 15. It is important to note that entering the waiting room does not guarantee ticket availability. At 6 PM, a queue number will be assigned to participants. If you manage to secure a spot before the tickets sell out, you will be able to purchase a maximum of four tickets in a single transaction. For those who have previously attempted to book tickets for the Mumbai and Ahmedabad concerts, the process will be familiar.
Coldplay's India tour
Coldplay is set to return to India for performances after an absence of more than eight years. Their previous concert took place in November 2016 at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai. This time, they will perform in Mumbai once again on January 17, 18, and 21 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Following these shows, they will travel to Ahmedabad to perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26.
When ticket sales for these concerts commenced last year, the demand was so high that queues reached into the hundreds of thousands, causing the BookMyShow website to crash. Many fans expressed concerns about potential ticket scalping after they were unable to secure their tickets. Before their performances in India, Coldplay's last stop on their global Music of the Spheres tour was in Abu Dhabi the previous week.
