Samantha urged Raj & DK to recast her role in Citadel: Honey Bunny
In an interview with Galatta India, Samantha said she initially didn't think of requesting Raj & DK to cast another actress. However, the actress ended up suggesting some names to the Citadel: Honey Bunny.
"I actually sent them Kiara’s (Advani) pictures and Kriti Sanon pictures. I remember sending four to them, saying, ‘Oh my God, she is so hot. Just look at her. She will be amazing doing action. Please, I can’t do it. They said, ‘We know them. You don’t have to introduce us to them. We know who they are’," revealed Samantha.
Despite the challenges she faced, Samantha shot for her action-packed series, Citadel: Honey Bunny. The actress played a pivotal role in Raj & DK's show, which premiered on November 7, 2024.
When Samantha was diagnosed with myositis?
In 2022, Samantha Ruth Prabhu informed everyone that she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder called Myositis. The actress took to her Instagram account and shared her health update.
A portion of her note read, "A few months back with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front.
