Ananya Panday, daughter of actor Chunky Panday, made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with Student of the Year 2. After her first film, she appeared in a few more projects, including the web series Call Me Bae last year, which earned her praise for her performance on Amazon Prime Video. In a recent interview, Chunky admitted that he didn't watch the series for three days initially.

In a recent interview, Chunky Panday explained why he didn't watch his daughter Ananya's show Call Me Bae for three days. He admitted, "It wasn’t my kind of show. In fact, I didn’t watch it for three days." However, after watching the first three episodes, he ended up binge-watching the entire series and enjoyed it so much that he watched the whole season twice.

Chunky Panday shared, "For the first time, I thought, ‘God, is this my daughter! Where did she learn to do this? I didn’t teach her.’ I’ve never done anything like what she did in Call Me Bae. It’s challenging to carry so many episodes on your own, but she’s a hard-working girl. The best compliment an actor can receive is when people say, 'This role was meant for them.' But let me tell you, she’s nothing like Bae in real life." He also added that when people say a role was tailor-made for an actor, it’s a sign that the actor has done a great job.
