Chum Darang has recently disclosed her involvement in The Family Man 3 alongside Manoj Bajpayee and Jaideep Ahlawat. However, she ultimately had to decline the project in favor of participating in Bigg Boss 18. She elaborated on this decision during a recent interview, sharing insights into her experience.

Chum Darang chose Bigg Boss 18 over The Family Man 3

In a podcast titled Small Talk with Koko, Chum admitted to being part of The Family Man 3 but chose to forgo the opportunity for Bigg Boss 18. "Indeed, I was involved in Family Man 3, but I opted out for Bigg Boss," she stated, expressing her initial belief that her stay on the Salman Khan-hosted show would be brief, which would allow her to pursue additional roles upon her return.

Chum Darang's thought process backfired?

Contrary to her expectations, Chum remained in the Bigg Boss house for an extended period. What she anticipated to be a few days extended to two to three weeks, and ultimately, she aimed to approach the milestone of 100 days within the house. Remarkably, Chum secured a position among the top five finalists. Although she did not win the competition, her partner Karan Veer Mehra emerged victorious. Shortly thereafter, Chum and Karan officially confirmed their relationship on Valentine's Day this year.

Chum Darang spoke of Gangubai Kathiawadi recently

Chum Darang also shared that her role in Gangubai Kathiawadi came about unexpectedly. While caring for her elderly grandmother, she received a call from Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions. With her grandmother's assistance, she auditioned for the role, as it was her grandmother who filmed the audition videos that Chum submitted. These clips ultimately secured her a part in the film.

The third season of The Family Man is set to premiere on Prime Video soon, with Jaideep Ahlawat joining the cast as the antagonist for this season.
