The video posted on Instagram comes from the song Siang Aane ke Pasighat, which dropped in 2021. This track pays homage to Pasighat, Chum's hometown. The original version runs for almost 12 minutes and includes contributions from several other artists.

In the video, Chum showcases traditional attire from Arunachal Pradesh while dancing in a beautiful natural setting. She sings about the charm of her hometown in the local language, sporting a green and yellow dress along with a black and red outfit.

About Chum's career

Chum has snagged and competed for a bunch of beauty titles over the past few years. She was crowned Miss AAPSU in 2010 and made it to the finals of Miss North East Diva in 2014. In 2015, she took home the second runner-up spot at the Miss Himalaya pageant. Chum also represented India at Miss Earth India in 2016 and Miss Asia World in 2017, and she won the Miss Tiara India International title in 2017.

In 2020, she stepped into acting with a role in Prime Video's Paatal Lok, directed by Avinash Arun and Prosit Roy. She also had a part in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi.

By 2022, Chum made her Bollywood debut in Badhaai Do, directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. She played a key role alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao, and her performance as a same-sex partner was widely praised for its sensitivity and authenticity.
