Wearing all black, she covered her face with one hand, giving a touching look at the anxiety and uncertainty that so many are experiencing as the fires wreak havoc in the area.

Teigen opened up on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, sharing an emotional update about the “very surreal” experience of packing up her family’s things while wildfires continue to wreak havoc in Los Angeles County. In a heartfelt moment, she expressed her fear to her 41.9 million followers, saying, “I’m very scared now.”

But she soon shifted gears and brought some humor back into the mix by posting a pic of a Lego project she was working on, playfully saying she had “f**king told” her husband, John Legend, “not to start” it. Just a few hours before, Teigen had reassured her fans that she and her family, including their four kids—Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 1, and Wren, also 1—were “OK as of right now.” She shared, “I haven’t had the words, it is a hellscape. … Thank you for reaching out. Looking for any and all ways to help our community right now.”

Teigen mentions that her pets are doing just fine too

A family of six, along with their furry friends, made it to a hotel by Wednesday night without any issues. She posted a cute video of her dogs snuggled up with her in bed, laughing and letting out a big sigh. In her caption, she joked, “4 kids, 4 dogs, and a bearded dragon walk into a hotel.” She reassured her followers that her bearded dragon was safe too, telling one of her pups to “chill out,” as noted by Page Six. She added, “No worries… We’d never forget Sebastian. How could you even think that?”

Meanwhile, over 100,000 people have been forced to evacuate as six huge wildfires continue to blaze through Los Angeles, according to ABC News on Thursday morning.
