Choreographer Vijay Ganguly, the son of director and screenwriter Anil Ganguly, recently collaborated with Ibrahim Ali Khan on the film Nadaaniyan. Ibrahim, the son of Saif Ali Khan and his former spouse Amrita Singh, made his acting debut in this romantic comedy, which premiered on Netflix on March 7. In a recent interview, Vijay discussed his experiences working with various generations of Saif's family, including Ibrahim. He choreographed the wedding song "Tirkit Dhoom" for the film and noted that while Ibrahim may not be an exceptional dancer, he is certainly diligent in his efforts.

In his remarks, Vijay emphasized Ibrahim's commitment to mastering the dance routines. "Ibrahim Ali Khan is not a fantastic dancer, but he is very hardworking. Despite his Nawabi background, he remains humble. Whenever he struggled with a dance step, my assistants and I made extra efforts to ensure he succeeded," he shared with Mid-Day.

During the same interview, Vijay reminisced about reuniting with Amrita Singh on the set of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, a film featuring Sara Ali Khan, after many years. He recalled their encounter during the filming of Sara's project, for which he choreographed the song "Chaka Chak" in Atrangi Re.

"I had a proper meeting with her during the shoot of Sara’s Zara Hatke Zara Bachke [2023], and she remembered that I choreographed Sara’s song, 'Chaka Chak' [from Atrangi Re, 2021]. Sara would often wake me up at 4 am in Goa for rehearsals. She is very candid and straightforward, and sometimes we have to remind her to take it easy," Vijay noted.

Regarding Ibrahim Ali Khan's acting debut, it is worth mentioning that Nadaaniyan received significant criticism upon its release. In the film, Ibrahim portrayed the character Arjun Mehta and shared the screen with Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. His next project is rumored to be Sarzameen, featuring Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
