Priyanka Chopra is presently in Mumbai to participate in the wedding of her brother, Siddharth Chopra. The family commenced the pre-wedding festivities by hosting a Mata Ki Chowki at their residence to invoke blessings from the divine. Her mother, Madhu Chopra, shared several images with friends and family on social media.

On Wednesday, Madhu Chopra utilized Instagram to post pictures and videos from the Mata Ki Chowki held at their home. She was attired in a magenta suit, while Priyanka shone in an orange traditional outfit. The significant event was graced by close friends and family members.

In her post, she expressed, “A divine start to the wedding festivities! May Mata Rani bless the couple @siddharthchopra89 @neelamupadhyaya with happiness, love, and prosperity. I feel blessed to have family and friends around for this auspicious beginning.”

Additionally, Madhu Chopra provided a glimpse of Siddharth Chopra’s Mehendi ceremony. She shared a picture on her Instagram story featuring a group of women, including Priyanka in traditional attire, and Malti dressed in an adorable frock, gathered together for what seemed to be the Mehendi celebration. In her caption, she noted, “Behnaas and bhabhi taking Sajan ki Mehendi.”

Glimpse of ‘shaadi ka ghar’

Earlier, on February 4, Priyanka Chopra offered a sneak peek into the shaadi ka ghar, showcasing her family as they prepared for Siddharth’s wedding celebrations. In one of the images, the actor was seen rehearsing for a dance performance, while in another, her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, was engaged with a friend, playing with colors and sketchbooks.

For the caption, she expressed: “The wedding house..!! And it commences tomorrow—my brother's wedding with @neelamupadhyaya!! From sangeet rehearsals to family gatherings—it's wonderful to be back home. My heart is overflowing, as is my calendar. Who claims that a wedding is simple? No one. But is it enjoyable? Certainly!
