Actor Chiranjeevi utilized social media to dispel rumours regarding the hospitalization of his mother, Anjana Devi. He stated that she is currently in good health and urged the media to refrain from disseminating unverified information concerning her condition.

Chiranjeevi on his mother’s health

Chiranjeevi issued a statement on X (formerly Twitter) addressing recent media reports regarding his mother's health. He clarified that although she experienced some health issues for a few days, she is now in good health. He stated, “I would like to address certain media claims suggesting that our mother is unwell and hospitalized. To clarify, she was slightly unwell for a brief period, but she is now completely healthy and doing well. I kindly request that the media refrain from publishing any speculative information about her condition. Thank you for your understanding.”

Recent reports released on Friday indicated that Anjana had become unwell and was subsequently admitted to a private hospital for medical care. It was also mentioned that her son, Pawan Kalyan, who serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and is an actor, had rescheduled his meetings and events in Vijayawada to be present with her in Hyderabad. Nevertheless, Chiranjeevi addressed these speculations, clarifying the situation without providing additional information regarding her health.

Anjana Devi recently celebrated her birthday

This event occurred less than a month after Chiranjeevi commemorated Anjana’s birthday at their residence, accompanied by his wife Surekha Konidela, son Ram Charan, daughter-in-law Upasana Konidela, and other family members.

In his birthday wishes, he expressed, “Amma!!!!! On this special day, we want you to know that you are cherished beyond words, loved beyond measure, and respected more than you could ever imagine.” The accompanying video depicted her joyfully cutting cakes and celebrating her special day with family.

In 2023, Chiranjeevi was last featured in the films Waltair Veerayya and Bhola Shankar; the former achieved commercial success, while the latter did not perform well. He is set to appear in Vishwambhara, directed by Vassishta, and has also approved a project with Dasara director Srikanth Odela.
