In an interview with PTI, Soha Ali Khan explained her decision to portray an antagonist in Chhorii 2 for her return to acting. She expressed her passion for horror films, stating, "The actor within me was eager to take on an antagonist role, as I have a deep appreciation for horror. It represents one of the most captivating genres in cinema. When executed effectively, it can captivate you, evoke strong emotions, and linger in your thoughts for days or even months."

The actress discussed her journey of self-discovery in the context of motherhood. As a proud mother to Inaaya Naumi Khemu, her social media accounts frequently feature images and videos of her daughter.
