Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal is one of the most anticipated films of 2024. The makers of the period-drama finally released the teaser today, August 19. The first glimpse from the teaser already stirred the internet after it was attached to Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2. After receiving immense appreciation, Vicky’s wife and actress Katrina Kaif, brother Sunny Kaushal, and Sharvari expressed their excitement for the film as they reacted to the teaser.

Katrina Kaif praises Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava teaser

A while ago, Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram Story and re-shared the teaser video of Chhaava. Praising the video starring her husband Vicky Kaushal, she penned, “And it’s hereeeeee (fire emojis) RAW, BRUTAL,GLORIOUS (swords) and tagged the cast.

On the other hand, Sunny Kaushal wrote on his Instagram Story, “Matlab abhi kya hi bolu!! Goosebumps all over #Chhaava. His rumored girlfriend and Vedaa star Sharvari also expressed her happiness and shared, “GIISEBUMPS.” Tagging the cast, she further added, “CANNOT WAIT.”

The highly-awaited period drama is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The teaser captured Vicky Kaushal in a never-seen-before avatar with intense war scenes. The actor’s expressions along with his acting skills are simply commendable.

Vicky also can be seen fighting against a huge crowd of warriors. He roars like a tiger as he puts on a heroic and valiant show, ruling the bloody battlefield that is sure to give you goosebumps. Meanwhile, Akshaye Khanna looks recognizable in the negative role.

Soon after the release of the teaser, fans took to their X handles and expressed their excitement. One fan wrote, "Vicky Kaushal is perfect example of tall,dark,handsome and multi talented actor!!! "

Meanwhile, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in supporting roles. Produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, the Laxman Utekar directorial will be released on December 6.
