Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina have recently been in the spotlight for unfavourable reasons. Following the viral spread of a clip from India’s Got Latent, the pair faced significant criticism from both the public and various celebrities and politicians. It appears that Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has also weighed in on the situation. On February 12, AR Rahman, along with Vicky Kaushal and the Chhaava team, attended the film's music launch event in the city. During the event, the composer made a humorous remark about the importance of discretion, which many interpreted as a subtle reference to the ongoing controversy involving Ranveer and Samay. Here are the details of the incident.
What did AR Rahman say at the Chhaava music launch?
On Wednesday evening, the music launch event for Chhaava took place at the NMACC Auditorium in Mumbai. The audience was captivated by AR Rahman's performance as he commanded the stage. Subsequently, Vicky joined him, and the two engaged in a lighthearted exchange. Vicky remarked, "You must now be lazy, but only use three emojis to describe your music." In a humorous retort, Rahman mimicked the 'mouth closed' emoji gesture and quipped, "In the past week, we have witnessed the consequences of an open mouth." This remark elicited laughter from both Vicky and the audience.
