Television actress Charu Asopa, formerly married to Rajeev Sen, the brother of Sushmita Sen, has disclosed her relocation from Mumbai to Bikaner with her daughter Ziana, citing financial challenges as the reason for this move. In a recent vlog, she addressed allegations made by her ex-husband Rajeev, who claimed that she was secretly communicating with his best friend.

Charu Asopa hits back at Rajeev's allegations

 In her most recent vlog, Charu provided an update on preparing her new home in Bikaner. She addressed the trolls who criticized her for purchasing a new house and selling clothes to make ends meet, urging them to "Live and let live." Additionally, she responded to a recent remark made by Rajeev, stating, “There was a comment suggesting that I was caught red-handed while talking to one of your friends. I found that comment quite odd — being caught red-handed just for conversing with a friend? If you claim to have caught me in the act, then you must know what I said, right?”

Charu continued, “So please tell me what I said, as I would like to know as well. If you caught me red-handed, what was I discussing with your friend? And please provide the name of the friend I was allegedly speaking to. Which of your friends was I talking to? It’s important not to make unfounded claims — everyone tends to speak without evidence.”

What Rajeev had said

Earlier, In a recent interview with ETimes, Rajeev discussed the deterioration of his relationship with Charu. He stated, “We were all enjoying our vacation in Dubai, relishing our time as a happy family. However, on January 1st, I discovered Charu conversing with my best friend of 20 years without my knowledge. She even began following him on Instagram. When I confronted her, she remained silent. Although she has numerous male friends, she overstepped boundaries by secretly befriending my best friend; from that moment, our relationship took a turn for the worse. I cannot accept this behavior.”

Charu married Rajeev Sen, the brother of Sushmita Sen, in 2019, and they welcomed their daughter Ziana in 2021. Unfortunately, their marriage was short-lived, leading to their separation announcement. After several months apart, they finalized their divorce in 2023.
