Bobby Deol and Chandan Roy Sanyal's web series, Aashram, has captivated audiences since its launch. The second installment, Aashram 3, titled Ek Badnaam... Aashram 3 Part 2, has recently premiered on Amazon MX Player. The dynamic between Bobby and Chandan's characters, Baba Nirala and Bhopa Swami, has evolved from friendship to fierce rivalry. In a recent interview, Chandan suggested the possibility of Aashram 4, indicating that the narrative could further develop his character in a new season.

In a conversation with, Chandan Roy Sanyal expressed that Ek Badnaam... Aashram 3 Part 2 has emerged as the 'best edition' for viewers. The actor admitted he initially had doubts about the show's potential to achieve its current success. "I recognized that it was a compelling story with a strong script, directed by Prakash Jha and featuring Bobby Deol," Chandan stated.

Amid discussions regarding his character Bhopa Swami potentially ascending to the throne, Chandan expresses his hope that the writers will introduce new developments to his role. "The direction of the story is in the hands of the writers. I am currently unaware of what lies ahead. However, I am confident that the writers will weave more enchantment into the narrative, especially since this season concluded on a notably high note," he remarked.

Following the release of Ek Badnaam... Aashram 3 Part 2, Chandan contemplated the progression of his character. "From the very beginning, Bhopa Swami has been engaged in a struggle to establish his position—gaining the trust of his people while solidifying his role within Baba Nirala’s inner circle. Yet, beneath his steadfast loyalty, there exists a tumult of internal conflict, particularly concerning Pammi."

Chandan appeared in the web series alongside Bobby Deol, Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumaar, Vikram Kochhar, Tridha Choudhury, Anupriya Goenka, Rajeev Siddhartha, and Esha Gupta in prominent roles. The second instalment of the third season was released on February 27, 2025.
