On January 26, 2025, fans and loved ones gathered to pay tribute to the late K-pop star on what would have been his 27th birthday. Cha Eunwoo especially shared a touching message on social media, reminiscing about Moonbin and the profound influence he had on everyone he met.

Cha Eunwoo sent a heartfelt birthday shoutout to Moonbin

The True Beauty star shared a touching tribute for Moonbin on his birthday by covering Shin Seung Hun's "After A Long Time." He posted the cover on his YouTube channel and included a heartfelt message in the video description, wishing Moonbin a happy birthday and expressing how deeply he misses him.

He wrote, “Happy birthday, Binnie. How are you? I’ve been missing you even more lately. There’s so much I want to chat about over drinks, but I feel a bit lost without you.” He added, “I’m sorry I haven’t been able to come by as much as I did last year. The more I think about you, the harder I push myself to keep going, because that’s what you would have wanted, right? But honestly, it’s starting to feel a bit much. Haha, am I doing okay? Your absence is really weighing on me these days, my friend,” as reported by Koreaboo.

He wrapped up his message with, “I just miss you so much. Love you. Happy Moonbin Day,” along with a purple heart.

He not only covered the song but also hopped on Instagram to post a bunch of pics with Moonbin and the rest of the ASTRO crew. The snaps showed that Eunwoo dropped by to see his buddy and brought along some of his favorite snacks.
