In an unusual occurrence, officials have confirmed that Saif Ali Khan was assaulted by an unidentified attacker wielding a knife at his residence in the Bandra region of Mumbai during a robbery attempt. The event transpired at approximately 2:30 am, prompting Khan to be swiftly transported to Lilavati Hospital, where he received surgical treatment. Following the dissemination of this news, numerous celebrities expressed their astonishment and offered prayers for the actor's swift recovery.

Following the reports of Saif Ali Khan's knife attack, numerous celebrities expressed their concern on social media, offering prayers for the actor's swift recovery. 

Jr NTR, who recently collaborated with Saif in the Telugu film Devara, took to X to convey his feelings, stating, "I am shocked and saddened to learn about the attack on Saif sir. I wish and pray for his rapid recovery and well-being."

Chiranjeevi wrote, "Deeply Disturbed by news of the attack by an intruder on #SaifAliKhan. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery."

Raveena Tandon expressed on her Instagram Story, "The targeting of celebrities and vulnerable individuals in what was once a secure residential neighbourhood has become increasingly prevalent. Bandra is succumbing to disorderly elements, including accident scams, hawker mafias, encroachers, land grabbers, and criminals engaging in bike thefts and chain snatching. There is a pressing need for more robust measures. Wishing you a swift recovery #saif."

According to the Mumbai Police, the suspect accessed Saif's residence via the staircase. Dixit Gedam, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mumbai Police, informed the media, "In the ongoing investigation, we have identified an individual who approached Saif Ali Khan's residence in Bandra (West) with the intent to commit burglary. The suspect utilized the staircase of the building 'Satguru Sharan,' where the actor resides with his family, to ascend."

A source from the Mumbai police informed the Indian Express, stating, “We believe that assistance may have facilitated his entry, and a confrontation ensued for some reason. The local police are currently interrogating her to gather further information regarding the suspect. Seven teams from the local police are actively engaged in efforts to locate him.” Additionally, reports indicated that the actor sustained six stab wounds while attempting to protect his family by positioning himself between them and the assailant.

In the meantime, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and other relatives arrived at the hospital to visit Saif.
