Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore celebrated her 80th birthday on Sunday, with her family members, including Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, and Sara Ali Khan, joining in the festivities. Sara took to Instagram to share photographs and videos from the birthday luncheon held in honour of Sharmila.

A family was observed gathered around a table in a restaurant. In one photograph, Sharmila was captured waving at the camera while seated between Saif Ali Khan and Sara. Kareena Kapoor, Kunal, Inaaya Naumi Keemu, and Jeh Ali Khan were also present. In a video, the entire group assembled around Sharmila as she prepared to cut the cake. Sharmila appeared surprised when Inaaya presented her with a large knife. Subsequently, they all joined in singing the birthday song.

In a photograph, Sara Ali Khan was seen seated between Kareena and Saif. In a separate image, Saif displayed a playful expression. Additionally, Sara posed alongside Sharmila in one of the pictures. She accompanied the post with the caption, "Happy Birthday Dadi Jaan (grandma). Humari family ki Aan Aur Shaan (The pride of our family)."

Jeh's goofy pose wins hearts

Soha shared several photographs from their lunch on Instagram. One image features Sharmila holding a birthday card that appears to have been crafted by Inaaya. In another picture, Jeh is seen making a playful expression while sitting on Soha's lap. Additionally, Sharmila humorously intruded on a photo of Soha and Kunal. Soha accompanied the post with the caption, "Full stomachs and even fuller hearts."

Saba Ali Khan shared a series of photographs on Instagram commemorating the special occasion. The images feature her alongside Sharmila, Kareena, Soha, Kunal, and various other guests. In her caption, she expressed, "My beautiful mother. Wishing you the happiest of birthdays. Love you endlessly ... may you always remain healthy and in high spirits."

Kareena recently expressed her affection for her mother-in-law through a touching post. On Instagram, she shared charming photographs in honour of Sharmila's birthday.
