The ongoing divorce saga involving rapper Cardi B and Offset has escalated significantly on social media. In a passionate confrontation, Cardi B openly called on Offset to complete their separation by signing the divorce documents.

Divorce hassles

The couple was seen together at a Miami nightclub over the weekend, coinciding with Offset's 33rd birthday celebration. However, the situation escalated dramatically on Wednesday when the former partners engaged in a public altercation.

Offset initiated the dispute by accusing Cardi B of misleading her fans in a bid to damage his reputation. In now-deleted posts, he stated, “Nobody wins when the family fights… Drop the album and go up,” as reported by TMZ.

He further expressed, “It ain’t the look you a fire [woman] good music but you focus on dick and tryna make me look bad focus bra this shit is whack from us both honestly. Drop the album and go up.”

Cardi B, a Grammy-winning artist, did not take Offset's remarks lightly and insisted that he sign their divorce papers so they could both move forward with their lives.

“So dating because I’m single means I’m just worried about d**k?? You sound like a dummy. Trying to be fake nice after you did what you wanted from the beginning trying to push a narrative to these people. Congratulations!! F**k off and sign the papers TODAY,” she responded.

Offset’s response

Offset responded to the request by seeking joint custody of their three children and subsequently criticized Cardi B, labelling her as “single and miserable.” In response, Cardi B stated, “You assumed that men wouldn’t be interested in me because, in your words, I have three children and I’m in my thirties. I’m not miserable; I don’t interfere with the women you associate with, yet you continue to message and speak negatively about me whenever I engage with someone. Let’s not do this!”

About the couple

Cardi initiated divorce proceedings against Offset in August, just one day after revealing her pregnancy with their third child. The couple has been married for six years. As the divorce process advances, Cardi is pursuing full custody of their children, amidst ongoing public disagreements.
