Cardi B directed criticism towards US President Donald Trump for allegedly damaging a pair of her $3,000 Louboutin shoes during the 2025 Super Bowl.

After the Philadelphia Eagles triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs, the rapper displayed her spiked footwear during an Instagram Live session on Sunday evening.

In a video shared by a fan on X, she expressed, “Look at how messed up my shoes are.” “These shoes cost me three bands. All because of Trump. Now my opinion of him has diminished!”

“You didn’t need to attend the Super Bowl,” Cardi asserted, adding, “You ruined my shoe!”

The 32-year-old Grammy winner explained that she was forced to walk since the cart service at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans was suspended “at a certain point … due to Trump’s presence.”

She further noted that the Secret Service, responsible for Trump’s security, was “not accommodating,” making the experience “difficult” for everyone at the game.

Cardi B asks Trump to bring back her deported uncle

During an Instagram livestream, Cardi B, expressing her frustration over her shoes, urged President Trump, 78, to compensate her by facilitating the return of her deported uncle to the United States. She candidly remarked, “Well, he definitely ain't going to do that.”

In response to her video, one user on X commented, “She’s so angry about her uncle she can’t stop eating. Never happened.” Another user expressed their discomfort, stating, “She makes my skin crawl.” A third individual noted, “It is possible to actually lose IQ points by just listening to some people speak,” while a fourth user called for her deportation, saying, “Deport Cardi B.”

On a separate note, Trump made history on Sunday by becoming the first sitting U.S. president to attend a Super Bowl, although he departed the stadium after the second quarter. His administration initiated widespread deportations of undocumented immigrants following his inauguration on January 20.

Additionally, Trump mocked tight end Travis Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, for being booed by the audience, which occurred after the pop star endorsed Kamala Harris in the presidential race. In reaction to her endorsement, the President openly expressed his disdain for her.
