The Amazon Prime Video series Call Me Bae trailer dropped today, August 20. The show features Ananya Panday as a rich heiress who loses all her money and eventually moves to Mumbai to start a life from scratch. The actress goes from a South Delhi heiress to a hustler. Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, the comedy-drama also stars Vir Das, Varun Sood, Muskkan Jafferi, Vihaan Samat, and others in key roles.

As soon as the trailer of the show was out, netizens took to the comments section and expressed their views about the trailer. While some called it 'Desi Schitts Creek', which also revolved around the same narrative, others compared it to another Hollywood show titled '2 Broke Girls'.
One social media wrote: "It’s like watching 2 Broke Girls, but from Caroline’s perspective." Another one commented, "Desi Schitts Creek- Just that this one revolves around Alexis aka Ananya!" One comment read: "Emily in Paris meets 2 Broke Girl meets Schitts Creek!"
A few people also commented on the 'viral' dialogue which was earlier trending after Siddhant Chaturvedi took a jibe when Ananya talked about her 'struggles'.
