The FUNdex roster has concluded its extensive data analysis and buzz surveys conducted throughout the year, ultimately identifying the distinguished winners of the K-entertainment sector for 2024. The second annual FUNdex Awards took place on Thursday, December 19, at the Megazon Industry-Academia-Research Center Auditorium in Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town, honouring the significant contributions made to the K-drama industry over the past year.

Byeon Woo Seok, recognized for his role in Lovely Runner, received two prestigious awards during the event—a remarkable achievement anticipated by many fans. The awardees were selected based on the Good Data Corporation's impartial evaluation of verified data. This organization conducted an in-depth analysis of K-content big data, assessing nominees through various metrics, including “topicality surveys, search response surveys, the FUNdex index, and the frequency with which a performer appeared in the Top 10 for topicality.”

Byeon Woo Seok's portrayal of Ryu Sun Jae in Lovely Runner has significantly enhanced his international recognition, cultivating a loyal fan base.
