On Friday, Nicola responded on her Instagram Stories, criticizing JK Rowling and captioning her post, “Keep your new Harry Potter, I wouldn’t go near it with a ten-foot pole.”

Nicola shared a video on her Instagram to express her feelings about the Supreme Court's decision. She stated, “I am utterly appalled by the ruling. It’s sickening to witness an already marginalized community being targeted even more, especially through legal means. It’s even more disturbing to see people celebrating this.
