However, fans were really hit hard when Brian Tee left the show in 2022 after season eight. Since then, he’s joined the Reacher universe, and in a chat with OTTplay, he shared his thoughts on possibly returning to Chicago Med. Keep reading to find out all the details!

Is Brian Tee coming back to Chicago Med?

Brian Tee plays the character Quinn in Reacher, stepping into the shoes of the show's antagonist. His portrayal has been making waves, especially with the series now in its third season. Recently, he and Olivier Richters had a chat about Reacher, and we took the chance to ask how Ethan from Chicago Med might react to Quinn. Tee explained that these characters come from totally different realms. He also talked about the possibility of returning to Chicago Med.

When we asked if Ethan would be on board with Quinn from Reacher, a pumped-up Brian Tee replied, "Would Ethan ever approve of Quinn? I really don’t think so. Those two are from completely different worlds. If they ever crossed paths, it would definitely lead to some serious clashes—they’d be at each other’s throats!"

Is there a possibility he could come back to Chicago Med? Tee gave a smart, mysterious response that gave fans a glimmer of hope. "Does Ethan… No, no, I don’t think so. I’ll never say never. But, you know, we’ll see. Right now, I’m just really enjoying Reacher, which drops on February 20th, and I can’t wait to see this guy (Olivier Richters) on screen. You might need bigger TVs when we’re together, but we’re super excited."

Brian Tee shared more about his character Quinn, saying, "I've been in the acting game for 25 years. What really excites me about this role is how the showrunners took inspiration from the book, made some adaptations, and aimed to enhance it. They approached the casting for Quinn with a color-blind mindset, looking far and wide for the perfect fit, and they chose the actor who nailed the audition. I'm really grateful to the showrunners for letting me show what I can do and for this amazing chance to bring this character to life."
