Reflecting on her career, she recounted how, at the beginning of her journey, she was informed that non-English films would struggle to gain international recognition. “When I embarked on my career at the age of 18, I was told that I came from an industry that primarily produced Hindi and Telugu films, which are considered non-English. During my efforts to find opportunities beyond my home country, I encountered the belief that films with subtitles or those not in English would not succeed internationally. Yet, here we are today,” she remarked.

Priyanka reminisced about her father, saying, “My parents, particularly my father, were the first entertainers I ever encountered. I lost him in 2013. He taught me the immense joy of being the center of attention at a gathering. Whenever there was a crowd, my father would be right in the midst of it. He embodied the essence of an entertainer, demonstrating how one can be both entirely confident and completely vulnerable at the same time.”
