Veteran producer Boney Kapoor was married to Sridevi for over two decades. Her untimely demise in 2018 came as a major shock to everyone, including her family. It's been six years since her death but the senior producer continues to consider Sridevi as his 'inspiration'. In his latest Instagram post, Boney credited his late wife for a significant improvement in his physical fitness. Kapoor said he is now looking better.

Boney Kapoor calls Sridevi his 'inspiration'

Boney Kapoor opened up about his transformation on social media. While sharing his new look, the veteran producer said Sridevi is his inspiration, and her thoughts are always with him. "Hair is getting thicker, I am looking better, lost 14 kgs 8more to go my inspiration is my Jaan, her art is behind me, her thoughts are always with me, she remains with me all the time (sic)," he captioned his IG post.

Janhvi Kapoor (Boney and Sridevi's daughter) was quick to comment on the post. She dropped several heart emojis in the comments section. Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra also lauded Kapoor's transformation. Boney's younger brother Sanjay Kapoor added that he is proud of him. Orry, too, left a heart emoji.

Boney Kapoor remembers his late wife

Earlier, in an interview with Gulf News, Boney Kapoor said he is not looking for closure as he wants Sridevi to be 'around him' all the time. "She is there in my thoughts and will remain in my thoughts all the time. There is not a single moment of the day where she is not with me. She may not be here physically, but she’s there in my mind all the time and that keeps me going," said Kapoor.

For those who are unaware, Boney got married to Sridevi in 1996. They were blessed with Janhvi in 1997 and a few years later, the duo welcomed their second daughter, Khushi Kapoor. Before Sridevi, Kapoor was married to Mona Shourie, with whom he has two children - Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor.
