Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar's son, Konark Gowarikar, tied the knot with Niyati Kanakia on March 2 in Mumbai. The wedding reception was a glamorous event, attracting a bunch of celebrities who have collaborated with Ashutosh over the years, all there to celebrate and shower their blessings on the happy couple.

Aamir Khan, who collaborated with Ashutosh on Lagaan back in 2001, showed up at the wedding reception with his former wife Kiran Rao. He looked sharp in a dark grey suit and flashed a smile for the cameras.

Kiran showed up at the reception alongside Nupur Shikhare, who is Ira Khan’s husband. She looked great in a white shirt teamed with a printed skirt for the event.

Also making a rare appearance was Gayatri Oberoi, famous for her role in Ashutosh Gowarikar's Swades. She attended the wedding reception with her husband, Vikas Oberoi.

Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh show up together

Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh looked super happy as they arrived at the reception. The couple struck a pose for the photographers. Genelia dazzled in a beautifully embroidered sari, and Riteish looked sharp in his black suit.

Vidya Balan showed up at the reception with her husband, Sidharth Roy Kapur. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 star looked gorgeous in a black sari and happily posed for the photographers at the entrance. Recently, she took to Instagram to warn her fans about a fake video that was circulating, making it clear that she had nothing to do with its creation or spread.

Other celebrities at the reception included Sonali Bendre, Pooja Hegde, and Chunky Pandey.

Ashutosh is a well-respected filmmaker in Bollywood, known for his award-winning movies like Swades, Lagaan, and Jodhaa Akbar. His latest film, Panipat, came out in 2019 and featured Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
