As Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane's film Sanam Teri Kasam makes a triumphant return to theaters and performs impressively at the box office, the Pakistani actress has tied the knot in her hometown. Her wedding celebrated Bollywood influences; however, it notably lacked any homage to Sanam Teri Kasam itself. While the film's music has captivated audiences since its release, the wedding festivities leaned more towards contemporary Bollywood tracks. Here are the details of her wedding celebration.

Salman Khan-Vicky Kaushal the highlight of the wedding

Ameer Gilani, the husband of Mawra, performed a dance to the song "Saajan Ji Ghar Aaye" from the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji in prominent roles. This performance undoubtedly elicited a great deal of applause.

One of the significant highlights was Farhan Saeed, who is Urwa's husband and Marwa's sister, performing a dance to Vicky Kaushal's "Tauba Tauba" from the recently released film, Bad Newz.

Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor's songs also included

Urwa Hocane, the sister of Mawra Hocane, showcased her dancing skills by performing to Shah Rukh Khan's "Maahi Ve" from the film Kal Ho Naa Ho, in which he starred alongside Preity Zinta. Her performance did not conclude with this song; she also danced to "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya," featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, from the track "Laal Peeli Akhiyaan." Following her, Farhan took the stage and energized the dance floor with Shah Rukh Khan's "Chaiyya Chaiyya" from the movie Dil... Se.

Sanam Teri Kasam touch missing

Mawra considers the re-release of her film Sanam Teri Kasam and its impressive Box Office performance in India to be the most significant wedding gift she could receive. However, the songs from the film were notably absent from her wedding celebrations. Despite the grandeur of the Bollywood event, it may seem somewhat lacking without a tribute to her debut film, which features several beautiful tracks. In the meantime, Sanam Teri Kasam outperformed all new releases, emerging as the highest-grossing film at the Box Office during its opening weekend, amassing over Rs. 11 crores—an achievement that neither Junaid Khan-Khushi Kapoor's Loveyapa nor Himesh Reshammiya's Badass Ravi Kumar could match.
