Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2, the eagerly awaited second segment of Bobby Deol's series, has officially launched. The actor recently revealed in an interview with Filmfare that the pressure of marketing the show for the first time led to a vertigo episode. He also mentioned that he had not informed his parents about his decision to take on this role.

Nervousness over promotions and playing an antagonist

When questioned about his feelings towards promotions, Bobby Deol reflected on his past anxieties. He acknowledged that he felt considerable nervousness, particularly because it was his inaugural experience in the role of an antagonist. The actor vividly remembers the day he experienced a vertigo attack during promotional activities, attributing it to the stress and apprehension surrounding audience reception of his performance in such a challenging role.

Bobby further elaborated that actors can sometimes allow external opinions to dominate their thoughts, causing them to doubt their own talents. He emphasized that an actor's vulnerability is exposed when they become susceptible to external influences, leading to a loss of confidence in their abilities. Consequently, many individuals opt for easier paths instead of pursuing their aspirations. He also noted that taking on the character of Baba Nirala was a significant decision for him, as it marked a pivotal moment in his career relaunch and involved stepping into a role he had never previously undertaken.

Keeping the show a secret from his parents

Bobby expressed his feelings of anxiety, recalling the experience of concealing the show from his parents. While it is customary for filmmakers to view their films prior to a premiere, he found himself among the audience this time. The actor had never previously had the opportunity to relax and watch an episode alongside the entire nation. His parents were astonished when they began receiving a flurry of messages and his phone incessantly rang. He had never informed them about his participation in the show, despite their attempts to sway his decisions. The reactions of individuals can be unpredictable, especially when one possesses a bold persona. His mother continues to receive inquiries from friends eager to know the release date of the next season, resulting in an overwhelming number of calls.

The crime drama series Aashram was both created and directed by Prakash Jha. The series features prominent actors such as Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumaar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Vikram Kochhar, Tridha Choudhury, Anupriya Goenka, Rajeev Siddhartha, and Esha Gupta, marking Bobby Deol's return to the acting scene. Part 2 of Season 3 is available for viewing on Amazon MX Player.
