Bobby Deol's highly anticipated series, Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2, has officially premiered. In a recent discussion with Filmfare, the actor shared his experience of experiencing a vertigo attack during the initial promotional activities for the show, attributing it to his nervousness. Additionally, he disclosed that he chose not to inform his parents about accepting the role.

Bobby Deol on suffering a vertigo attack

When inquired about whether he still experiences anxiety during promotional events, Bobby reflected on his feelings of nervousness. He stated, "It was my first experience portraying an antagonist, and I was indeed anxious. I recall the day of the promotion—I suffered a vertigo attack due to my existing vertigo condition. There was certainly a significant amount of apprehension and fear regarding how audiences would respond to my portrayal of such a character."

Bobby further elaborated that actors can sometimes become overly influenced by external opinions, leading to a loss of confidence in their skills. He emphasized that an actor's most vulnerable moment occurs when they become indoctrinated and cease to believe in their potential. Consequently, many choose the easier route instead of striving for their true aspirations. He also mentioned that taking on the role of Baba Nirala was not a simple choice for him, as he was in the process of reviving his career and had selected a character that was unlike any he had previously portrayed.

Bobby never told about Aashram to his parents

He remembered not informing his parents about the show and remarked, "Consequently, I felt quite anxious. Typically, when one participates in a film, there is a premiere screening beforehand, but in this instance, I was viewing it alongside the audience. It was my inaugural experience of watching the episodes while the entire nation was tuned in simultaneously. As messages began to flood in and my phone incessantly rang, my parents, whom I had never mentioned my involvement in such a show to—since they tend to exert influence—were taken aback. With a character as audacious as this, one can never be certain of how people will react or what they will say. My mother received numerous phone calls, and even now, her friends reach out to inquire about the release of the new season."
