He emphasized that there is "nothing to be ashamed of" in such efforts. Additionally, he addressed whether it was difficult for him to take these steps, considering his family name.

He remarked that the landscape was quite different at the beginning of his career, noting that individuals would approach him directly with work offers. He expressed concern over the growing number of actors entering the field, lamenting that many tend to overlook the influx of new talent that continues to emerge.

The actor discussed his approach to seeking employment opportunities. "During a challenging period in my career, I reached out to various individuals and informed them that I am Bobby Deol, requesting their assistance in finding work. I believe there is no shame in this, as the need for employment is paramount. At the very least, they will recall that Bobby Deol made an effort to connect with them, which can occasionally lead to job opportunities. Therefore, I see nothing inappropriate in this approach."

Bobby has recently experienced a revival in his career with his performance in the 2023 film Animal, where he stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor. His interpretation of a negative character has garnered acclaim and showcased a new dimension of his acting abilities. Furthermore, Bobby has also appeared in films such as Kanguva and Daaku Maharaaj.

At present, Bobby is portraying Baba Nirala in the second part of Season 3 of Ek Badnaam Aashram.
