Blake Lively has taken legal action against actor-director Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and trying to ruin her reputation with a smear campaign. Blake's publicist had something to say

There have been rumors that Justin is planning to file a counter-lawsuit against Blake's team for supposedly spreading false stories about him during the tour. In response to these claims, Blake's publicist has come forward to deny them. In a statement to People, the publicist said: “On August 11, I received a message from Sara Nathan (Melissa Nathan’s sister) who forwarded an anonymous tip that Page Six got about alleged HR complaints on the set of It Ends with Us. After that, several media outlets reached out to me for comments on these HR complaint allegations. When they did, I directed them to Wayfarer or Sony for any information regarding those complaints.”

I've never seen such unethical behavior before

The statement went on to say, “It’s obvious that Mr. Baldoni and his Wayfarer Associates are implying that I started the press stories about HR complaints on set, which is completely untrue. This highlights the campaign against my client. I won’t disclose when or how many lawsuits we’re planning to file, but when we do file our first one, it’s going to surprise everyone who’s been misled into believing a clearly false narrative. It will be backed by solid evidence and reveal the real story. In my 30 years of practice, I’ve never encountered such a level of unethical behavior driven by media manipulation.”

The allegations also claimed that Justin intentionally aimed to damage Blake's reputation through a "social manipulation" campaign, which harmed her business and caused her family "significant emotional distress."

It Ends With Us made headlines earlier this year due to the rumored tension between the two actors. They were seen separately at their movie premiere, and none of the cast followed Baldoni back on Instagram after he followed them.
