Blake Lively momentarily stepped away from the Blake vs Baldoni controversy to embrace the world of fashion on Friday evening. She attended the SXSW 2025 event for the premiere of her forthcoming film, Another Simple Favor. At the event, she made a striking appearance in an exquisite latex outfit, marking a significant fashion triumph after an extended period.

A quick change

She donned a strapless nude latex gown designed by Renee Masoomian, featuring a flared skirt and intricate black lace embellishments. Complementing her outfit, she chose open-toe pumps and a coordinating latex jacket. Her hair was elegantly styled in a retro Hollywood side-sweep, accentuated by a voluminous top, and she beamed with a radiant smile while posing for the photographers.

Upon her arrival at the red carpet, Blake removed her jacket and struck additional poses for the cameras.

Also by her side were her co-stars Anna Kendrick and Michele Morrone.

Blake vs Baldoni

The legal dispute involving Justin Baldoni continues to escalate. In late December, Lively initiated a lawsuit against Baldoni, his production company, and several others in New York, alleging sexual harassment and damage to her reputation, while seeking unspecified monetary compensation. In response, Baldoni filed a countersuit, claiming that Lively and her spouse, Ryan Reynolds, known for his role in Deadpool, engaged in defamation and extortion, demanding damages of at least $400 million.

On Tuesday, a judge indicated the possibility of dismissing the New York Times as a defendant in the defamation case, in which Baldoni accused the newspaper of collaborating with actress Blake Lively to tarnish his reputation following her allegations of sexual harassment against him. U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman, presiding in Manhattan, remarked that the Times' motion filed on February 28 to be removed from the case presented "substantial grounds for dismissal" and demonstrated "a strong likelihood that its motion to dismiss will succeed on the merits."
