During a recent red carpet event for ‘Another Simple Favor,’ social media exploded with criticism aimed at Blake Lively.

The drama started when it was said that Lively wasn’t a fan of the bright yellow backdrop, feeling it didn’t suit her under the lights.

In a viral clip, the former Gossip Girl star was seen signaling to her co-star Michele Morrone to step away from the background while the photographers were busy capturing the moment. Not long after, Lively's team gathered around her, making adjustments to her appearance to help her nail that perfect shot.

A lot of the criticism seems to come from Lively's ongoing legal issues with Justin Baldoni. She’s accused him of misconduct, and in response, Baldoni has filed a countersuit, saying she’s defamed him.

Lively is getting a lot of backlash from netizens

One user remarked, “Blake Lively, also known as Plantation Barbie, pulled off a ‘costume change’ at the red carpet for Another Simple Favor's premiere at SXSW. Is she for real? The level of delusion and self-importance is off the charts.”

Another person chimed in, “I’ve never really gotten why people see Blake Lively as a fashion icon.”

At the same red carpet event, Anna Kendrick, Lively’s costar in Another Simple Favor, was asked about the drama but opted to stay out of it.

“Wait, what happened?” Kendrick replied when a Variety reporter mentioned Lively’s legal troubles affecting the film. “I did Ayahuasca, and honestly, the last year is a blur for me, but I’ve heard the movie is fantastic.”
