Blake Lively Accused of 'Unpleasant' Behavior on Gossip Girl Set by Former Extra

Rossella Rago, 37, the host of the hit YouTube show Cooking with Nonna, has dropped some surprising allegations about Blake Lively. In a frank confession, Rago, who previously appeared as an extra on Gossip Girl, claimed that the actress was "horrendous" to collaborate with and even suggested that Lively threw her co-star Justin Baldoni "under the bus." Rago also recounted an unflattering moment where Lively supposedly had some flatulence between takes.
Rago opens up about her tough experience while working with Lively
In a TikTok video, Rago shared, “She would just burp and fart right in the middle of filming and act like we were lucky to be smelling her farts. Working with her was really tough. I don’t know how else to put it.” She also mentioned that Ryan Reynolds, the husband of the Gossip Girl star, would “bow down at her feet” when they started dating after her brief romance with Leonardo DiCaprio in 2011, according to Daily Mail.
Rago added, “She’s used to being the center of attention, and when that doesn’t happen, things get intense, and Baldoni has seen just how intense it can get.” This comment comes as a legal battle heats up between Justin Baldoni and Lively. It all started when Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and running a “smear campaign” against her. Recently, Baldoni countered with a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, claiming civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy.
Rago worked as an extra on Gossip Girl for all six seasons alongside Lively, who played Serena van der Woodsen. She said, “I was a stand-in for movies and TV shows for 15 years, and I was on Gossip Girl on and off for the entire run. I have to say, Blake Lively is really difficult to deal with. Sorry to break it to you. She was a nepo baby, and when she was 19, everyone was just praising her. It’s tough to stay grounded in that situation.”
She went on, “I think she believes she can act however she wants, and how dare we complain? She couldn’t handle that some people didn’t like her and ended up looking like a jerk.”
Rago concluded, “She’s thrown people under the bus. This guy [Justin Baldoni] has a wife and kids, and she’s made these harmless interactions seem like assault. I’ve seen the footage, and I just think, 'go home'.
Rago shares that Lively didn't get along with the extras while filming
Rago recounted an experience with Lively after she mentioned that the actress hardly engaged with the extras on set and would communicate through the director to keep them quiet or still. Rago recalled a moment when she offered Lively some script feedback during a scene. She remarked, “When she tried to be friendly… it felt forced because I was just a regular person,” adding that Lively expressed her gratitude in an overly dramatic way.
Rago also claimed that when Lively returned to the set of the teen drama post her breakup with DiCaprio, she had a “puss on her face” and was clearly in a bad mood, giving off vibes like: don’t approach her. But not long after, Lively and Reynolds fell in love and tied the knot in 2012, eventually welcoming two kids. Rago noted, “Ryan started showing up more. We all deserve a guy like that, someone who treats you like royalty. That was sweet. That’s just who she is.”
