Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is marking her 32nd birthday today, March 15. Despite the sorrow of losing her close friend Ayan Mukerji's father, Deb Mukerjee, her family has expressed their love and joy for her on this significant occasion. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Pooja Bhatt commemorated the day by sharing nostalgic photographs to extend their birthday wishes to Alia.

On Saturday, Riddhima, Alia's sister-in-law, posted a photo on Instagram featuring Alia taking a selfie alongside her and Neetu Kapoor. Accompanying Alia's image with a crown emoji, Riddhima expressed, "Wishing the happiest birthday to my beloved Alia. Love you to the moon and back."

Pooja, Alia's sister, also shared a delightful throwback photo on Instagram featuring a young Alia. In the image, she is seen embracing Alia as they posed together. Pooja captioned the post, "Happy Birthday @aliaabhatt May you always retain your childlike spirit and authenticity." The photo garnered admiration from fans, with one comment stating, "What a precious picture." Another remarked, "May this love be everlasting... Your protectiveness towards your loved ones is evident."

On Thursday, Alia marked her birthday in advance alongside the paparazzi in Mumbai, with Ranbir Kapoor also participating in the festivities. The actor was spotted taking photographs with the photographers and cutting a cake during the event. The couple engaged in a question-and-answer session, during which they requested the media to refrain from publishing any unauthorized images of their daughter, Raha, prioritizing her safety.

Although Alia and Ranbir initially planned to celebrate her birthday in Alibaug, they shortened their trip and returned to Mumbai the following day upon learning of the unexpected passing of Ayan Mukerji's father, Deb Mukerjee. The veteran actor passed away on Friday morning due to health complications related to aging, as confirmed by his spokesperson to Zoom.

Alia Bhatt's upcoming films

Alia was most recently featured in the film Jigra, which she co-produced with Karan Johar. Unfortunately, the movie, which included Vedang Raina in the cast, performed poorly at the box office. Her upcoming project is YRF’s Spy Universe film Alpha, where she will appear alongside Sharvari. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the release date for this film has not yet been disclosed. Additionally, the actress is involved in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, which also features Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal and is currently in production.
