Muthukumaran Jegatheesan is a distinguished orator and debate speaker, recognized for his hosting abilities and expertise in the Tamil language. His eloquence and strategic gameplay within the house have garnered significant attention from his supporters.

VJ Vishal, a television presenter and actor, is among the finalists of the show. His involvement in the house sparked considerable discussion, particularly regarding the relationships he developed with fellow contestants Tharshika and Anshidha. Vishal faced substantial criticism for allegedly leading Tharshika on, which some believe contributed to her elimination, after which he became closer to Anshidha.

Pavithra Janani, a serial actress and finalist, is noted for her composed demeanour and compassionate nature, which have distinguished her from the other contestants. Her most notable moments include a confrontation with Manjari during the ticket-to-finale challenge and her generous conduct during the Angels VS Devils task.

Rayan, the sole wild card entry among the finalists, secured the ticket to the finale, making him the first contestant to reach this stage. An actor by profession, Rayan is recognized for his close relationships with housemates Soundarya and Jacqueline, and his performance in physical challenges has been particularly noteworthy.

Soundarya, a television actress and finalist, is celebrated for her charming quirks and candid personality, which have earned her a substantial fan following. Notably, she proposed to Vishnu Vijay, a former contestant, during a family visit inside the house. Soundarya is also known for her role in the web series "Vera Maari Office."

The title winner of Bigg Boss Season 8 will receive a prestigious cash prize of Rs 40.5 lakhs. This amount was reduced following a recent task conducted within the house, where contestants had to choose whether to risk elimination to bring a money box inside within a specified timeframe. Muthukumaran secured Rs 50,000, while both Pavithra Janani and Raayan earned Rs 2 lakh each, and VJ Vishal won Rs 5 lakh.

According to reports, Muthukumaran is currently leading in the voting and is anticipated to claim the title. Nevertheless, the outcome remains uncertain, as circumstances can shift rapidly in Bigg Boss. The premiere will commence streaming at 6 PM on Vijay Television and Disney+ Hotstar.
