It is now known that Anil Kapoor has officially replaced Salman Khan as the new host of Bigg Boss OTT. The ‘Jhakaas’ actor makes his OTT hosting debut with Bigg Boss OTT 3, and the makers promise something ‘extra khaas.’ They have also announced when will the show be available for streaming, and it is this month itself!

So, when can you watch Bigg Boss OTT 3?

Bigg Boss OTT 3 will be available for streaming within half a month. It will be out from June 21.

Where can you stream the show?

Like always, Bigg Boss OTT 3 will be out on Jio Cinema. While new episodes will release at prime time (around 9.30 pm), the show can be live streamed on the very OTT platform as well. It is to be noted that Bigg Boss OTT 3 will only be available to Jio Cinema Premium subscribers.

Anil Kapoor third host of the OTT season

Bigg Boss OTT season 1 had launched with Karan Johar as the host. Divya Agarwal won the show, and Pratik Sahejpal landed in Bigg Boss 15, to be the runner-up of the Salman Khan-hosted show. While hosting the TV version, Salman also hosted Bigg Boss OTT season 2 (winner: Elvish Yadav, competing with Abhishek Malhan). This led people to believe that he will be associated with the third season but not too long ago, the makers confirmed that Anil Kapoor is making his OTT hosting debut with this season. The actor also teased his fans with new promos and stills from the show.

Hosting debut, or is it?

Anil Kapoor was seen as the host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in the movie, Slumdog Millionaire. In real life though, he has never hosted a reality show. Thus, Bigg Boss OTT 3 marks his debut in that too.

The actor has worked in various Television series but he made his OTT series debut with The Night Manager, also starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sobhita Dhulipala in the lead roles. It was in fact his previous project, before Bigg Boss OTT 3’s release. The Disney+Hotstar show is the Indian adaptation of Tom Hiddleston’s British show.
