Politician Tajinder Singh Bagga recently entered the Bigg Boss 18 house as a contestant. He is currently seen on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. Before entering the BB 18 house, Tajinder revealed why he decided to do Bigg Boss 18 and drew parallels between politics and acting. Bagga further shared his opinion on actors becoming politicians nowadays.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Tajinder Singh Bagga opened up about why he chose to be a part of Bigg Boss 18. "Every politician is hungry to get fame. No one will ever confess this. But Bigg Boss is a platform that is seen in every household. I accepted the offer because I wanted to reach a wider audience. I am not a hypocrite like others," he said.
Tajinder added that when a person is in politics, he/she comes across as fake even when they address the audience. "I hope with this people see my genuine side too. If you are not wrong, you shouldn’t be scared, unless you are being fake," added Bagga.
He further drew parallels between politics and acting. The Bigg Boss 18 contestant said acting has a lot of politics these days. "(And) politics these days has a lot of acting involved. There are a lot of politicians who are sitting in Delhi as CMs who are acting," he stated.

Apart from Tajinder, Bigg Boss 18 has more than 15 participants this year. Muskan Bamne, Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, Chaahat Pandey, Alice Kaushik, Shehzada Dhami, Rajat Dalal, Shrutika, Arfeen Khan, Sara Arfeen Khan, Shilpa Shirdokar and others are a part of the reality show.
Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 18 premiered on October 6, 2024. Advocate Gunratan Savarte was evicted from the reality show in the first week. However, he might be back on Bigg Boss 18 soon. The reality show airs from Monday to Friday at 10 pm and on weekends at 9:30 pm on Colors TV.
