On January 19, 2025, the finale of Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan, concluded with Karan Veer Mehra emerging as the champion. He triumphed over competitors Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal in the grand finale. Since that moment, Karan and his supporters have been revelling in his significant victory. Following his win, fan clubs of other participants expressed their discontent towards the producers for awarding him the trophy. There was a widespread expectation, including among fellow contestants, that Vivian would claim the title of Bigg Boss 18. This sentiment was palpable when Salman announced Karan as the winner, as several contestants present at the event refrained from applauding him. In a recent interview, Mehra addressed this situation.

Did Karan Veer Mehra feel affected by the lack of applause from some individuals?

In a conversation with, Karan Veer Mehra, currently basking in the glory of his victory, was inquired whether he felt perturbed by the absence of applause from certain attendees during his moment of triumph. The winner of Bigg Boss 18 responded, "There were two or three people whose cheers were the loudest. I think Chum, Shilpa, and my own sister, whom I met later because I was celebrating with them more."

He also mentioned that people were less happy during that time. At that moment, he did not fully comprehend the situation. Now, as he views videos and hears negative comments about himself, he does not feel particularly upset for his own sake. However, he expressed concern that his mother became ill from watching the show due to the extensive negativity directed towards him, which is troubling him.

In the same interview, he disclosed that he has been actively auditioning for various roles. He stated, "I must attend auditions for specific opportunities. Even now, I am still participating, you know, I’ve won two reality shows; this is my profile, thank you… I am still going through this process. Occasionally, you need to introduce yourself, not everyone is aware of your work, you know."

At the same time, Karan joined the Bigg Boss 18 show shortly after his victory in Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
