Karan Veer Mehra has emerged as a strong Bigg Boss 18 contestant. After winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, the actor has managed to play well in Salman Khan's BB 18. He has bonded well with Shilpa Shirodkar, Shrutika, and Chum Darang on the reality show. The latest promo of Bigg Boss 18 showcases Karan Veer's emotional and vulnerable side. The actor got teary-eyed as he spoke about his family on the reality show.

Colors TV dropped a new promo of Bigg Boss 18 featuring Karan Veer Mehra. The promo begins with Karan Veer's conversation with Shrutika. The television actor tells her that he is not capable of keeping a family together. To this, Shrutika reacts by saying, "Are you mad?" It is followed by the actor saying, "Main apni family ko hold nahi kar paya (I couldn't keep my family together)."

The promo ended with Karan Veer getting emotional in the middle of his conversation with Shrutika. While sharing the promo, the channel captioned its Instagram post, "Ghar ke baahar ki reality kya badal paayega Karan Veer Bigg Boss ke ghar ke andar? (sic)."

When Karan Veer Mehra spoke about his first divorce

For those who are unaware, Karan Veer Mehra was married to his childhood sweetheart Devika for 9 years before they got divorced. In an old interview with Bombay Times, the actor revealed what went wrong in his first marriage. 

"A childhood friendship of 10 years and another eight years of marriage could not withstand the blitz of the glamor world. As my career grew, she also chose to become a part of this charismatic world, and soon we began to drift apart," he said. The actor felt he began to slip from Devika's list of priorities. This changed their equation. After their divorce, Karan Veer got married to Nidhi Seth in 2021. However, the duo called it quits two years later. 

As for Bigg Boss 18, it streams on JioCinema and OTTplay Premium. The show, hosted by Salman Khan, airs on Colors TV.
